Police rescue Emirates Airlines Manager after alleged kidnapping

The Ghana Police Service has successfully rescued the Airport Services Manager for Emirates Airlines in Accra, Sylvia Patience Baah, following her alleged kidnapping.

She has been safely reunited with her family.

Authorities have assured the public that efforts are underway to locate and apprehend those responsible for the crime, reaffirming their dedication to bringing the perpetrators to justice.

Baah was reported to have been abducted from the entrance of her residence in Accra on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, in a statement expressed his appreciation to those who provided crucial information during the rescue operation.

He also thanked the public for their continued cooperation and support throughout the process.

Dr. Dampare further revealed that he had personally spoken with both Baah and her family, who are said to be in good health and spirits.

A team of police medical officers and clinical psychologists has been assigned to assist them during this challenging period to support their recovery.
