I’ve received calls from NDC to perform at their campaign rally – Stonebwoy

Dancehall artist Stonebwoy has revealed that he has been approached by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to perform at one of their campaign rallies, ahead of the December elections.

In a recent interview on Hitz FM, Stonebwoy shared that his decision to perform at the rally would depend on the financial terms.

He stressed that while he had received a call from the NDC, discussions were still underway regarding the payment.

“There’s been a call from the NDC, but I haven’t spoken to any NDC representatives yet. We’re still checking the financial aspects. If everything works out, I’ll perform for my fans and use some of the proceeds for the BHIM festival,” Stonebwoy explained.

The artist also took the opportunity to call for peace during the elections, emphasising the importance of unity in Ghana.

“Peaceful elections are all we seek in December. No matter the platform, when I perform, it’s for peace. Whether NPP, NDC, or CPP, it’s for peace because we are all one Ghana. Ghana first, Ghana must win,” he added.

“There are a few that I’m considering. I think there’s one call from the NDC now. To be clear, I haven’t spoken to any NDC person though there has been a call from them. We’re checking on the money level and if it goes well, I’ll perform to my fans so I can use some of the money for the BHIM festival,” he said.

“December is coming, so peaceful elections is all we seek. When you see me on any platform, I’m performing for peace, whether NPP, NDC, CPP, it’s for peace because we are all one Ghana, Ghana first, Ghana must win in the end,” he further noted.
