President-elect John Dramani Mahama has just appointed Augustus Goosie Tannoh as the Presidential Advisor for 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development implementation.
This appointment came as part of Mahama’s recent announcement of some key figures selected for positions within his Office.
Special Aide to Mahama, Felix Kwakye Ofosu issued a statement of the appointments and revealed will take effect on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The 24-Hour Economy initiative was Mahama’s key policy proposal popularized during his campaign for the December 7 elections.
According to the NDC, the policy seeks to provide opportunities to harness the country’s full potentials.
In a 24-hour economy, businesses and services operate beyond traditional daytime hours, hence, available in the evenings, night-time and early morning.
