Sam George, the Minister-designate for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, has addressed public perceptions that label him as disrespectful and abusive.

During his appearance before the Appointments Committee of Parliament on January 30, Sam George clarified that, while he is known for being outspoken and forthright in expressing his views, he does so without disrespect.

His remarks were intended to dispel widespread assumptions about his demeanour, stressing that his strong opinions should not be misinterpreted as personal disrespect.

“I’m not a disrespectful person. I have opinions, and I state them forcefully, but I’m not disrespectful,” he stated.

This response comes as part of a political career marked by bold and unapologetic advocacy on key national issues.
