A statement by the Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of one person in the Kintampo South Constituency of the Bono East Region for electoral offenses.
The suspect named Dery Joseph is an Electoral Commission official is currently under investigations for issuing approximately 15 ballot papers to some voters at the Ampesika-Bayere polling station who omitted the first presidential candidate on the ballots.
The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that investigations are ongoing for appropriate measures to be taken.
